Related Articles | Metrics Select A REVIEW ON STUDIES OF CHINESE LEXICAL SYSTEM WU Wei-min 西南石油大学学报(社会科学版)    2011, 13 (1): 92-94.   DOI: 10.3863/j.issn.1674-5094.2011.01.01 Abstract （454）            Knowledge map    Save The study of Chinese lexical system is of considerable significance in the studies of Chinese lexicology.Before the 1990s，there has been an intense debate in linguistics circle about whether there was a systematic Chinese lexicon.And two totally contradictory viewpoints were held by different parties.Then，the viewpoint that Chinese lexicon is a system was generally accepted.Since then，heated discussion began，which is mainly about the specific manifestation of Chinese lexical system，such as，sound pattern，grammar，word form，character，and meaning，etc.That Chinese lexicon is a system is further proved and justified theoretically.By exploring the previous studies，we found that Chinese lexicon is not a random accumulation of words but an organized system which is of weak and implicit hierarchical layering.Therefore，we hold that Chinese lexicon system should be explored at the semantic level and from both the synchronic and diachronic perspectives.As far as research methods are concerned，not only induction but deduction should be applied. Related Articles | Metrics Select A STUDY ON THE SHORTAGE OF MIGRATE WORKERS IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF ECONOMIC TRANSITION LIU Tao 西南石油大学学报(社会科学版)    2011, 13 (6): 25-29.   DOI: 10.3863/j.issn.1674-5094.2011.06.006 Abstract （268）            Knowledge map    Save Some researchers think that the shortage of migrate workers in recent years means the end of demographic dividend and the coming of China′s Lewis turning point.This paper attempts to analyze the problem of “migrate worker shortage” from a sociological perspective，and concludes that as China is now at its economic transition stage，abstract economic models are not enough to explain the reasons for this phenomenon.The argument about “limited surplus” of labor force does not correspond to the actual situation in China.The author thinks that the present shortage of labor force is associated with policy changes and reconstructions of family economic structure，and is of a temporary，seasonal and mobile characteristic.Unable to quickly promote industrial structure，cities have difficulties supporting a larger population and thus migrate workers don′t have the opportunity to realize reproduction of labor with grace.Therefore，transfer of surplus labor gradually goes on a decrease and the shortage of migrate workers is just a temporary phenomenon.
