Abstract: Computer emulation technologies are playing an important role on the petroleum industry, some have been widely applied, but the others have not attracted enough attention. Based on the research achievements and application practice of conputer emulation technology in the industry,
the computer emulation technologies applied in the industry are classified in the paper, and the characteristics and application situations of the technologies are analyzed, the purpose is to attract more attention to the technology and pronote the application of the technology on the industry.
