Abstract: Reservoir management is an integrated method and techni-cal management,and it lies in all the life of oil and gas exploita-tion. Technologies related to the reservoir management vary with the different phases, such as early production period, de-velopment period and producing operation period. The involved technical aspects include reservoir description, establishment
and implement of development plan, dynamic monitoring, de-velopment performance analysis, improvement of recovery strat-egy, decision of final development plan, and so on. These as-pects are tightly connected with each other and become the or-ganic components in the systematic reservoir management.
