Abstract

Abstract: Along with ceaselessly deeper of exploration and development, high quality reserves are less and less. At present, the target had gradually been diverted to small oil sand body and thin oil formation, and more and more difficult to develop. Under this kind of development status, and how to reasonable develop small oil sand body and thin oil formation, and it is a key problem. This article contraposed number 301 small oil sand bodies and geological reserves of Qiquxi Block in Gudong Oilfield, and applying the methods of petroleum engineering combining numerical simulation, the reasonable development scheme of small oil sand body and thin oil formation is optimized researched and the economic and feasible development scheme for different
small oil sand body and thin oil formations are determined. It is significant to enhance recovery factor and recoverable reserves of old oilfield. 
