NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF THE PLANE ONE-DIMENSIONAL PROBLEM OF ELASTIC DYNAMICS BY APPLYING THE METHOD OF CHARACTERISTIC CURVE

Abstract:

This paper presents the numerical solution of the plane one-dimensional problem of elastic dynamics by applying the method of characteristic curve. Considering change of density, an equation of characteristic curve is established and the Riemann constant is found,an example has been calculated. The calculated result agrees with the physical process of the example.
