Relationship Between Horizontal Well Trajectory and Formation Analysis in Longdong Tight Oil Area

Abstract: Longitudinal continuity of Chang 6X, Chang 7Y reservoir is poor, and the lateral change quickly in Longdong area Erdos basin. Thus brings difficulties in horizontal well logging interpretation. In order to calculate the reservoir parameters of horizontal well accurately and improve the drilling rate of oil reservoir, the article based on reservoir characteristics, logging data in study area, the article analyzes relationship between horizontal well trajectory and formation. Suggestions for reservoir division of tight oil reservoir in Ordos Basin, Steps and calculation methods of reservoir anisotropy analysis, evaluation of reservoir in horizontal section, correction of natural gamma, resistivity logging for surrounded rock are presented in this paper. The study would improve calculation precision of reservoir porosity, permeability and saturation, optimize the zone of horizontal well perforating and improve production of horizontal well.
