Abstract: The impact of noise data on the pressure derivative is characterized by rapid dampening with time, and the after flow rate for the closure of constant surface rate with constant wellbore storage coefficient is recovered by segmented exponential function in inverted order according to the wellbore material balance equation.Based on this recovered after flow rate, the early time radial flow is uncovered by D.Ilk′s pressure rate deconvolution algorithm by removing specified percent of wellbore storage effect, and parameters of reservoir and wellbore are interpreted according to this recovered radial flow. This method is very stable and accurate according to the data test of pressure which contains 30 kPa random noise.
