    Because of the differences of the basement fault and basement lithology as well as stress environment, three distinctive kinds of fault systems are developed respectively during evolution history of Qaidam basin, which are northern margin, mid-dle region of the basin and north Kunlun Mount. They domi-nate seven petroleum zones- northern margin, Yili Ping to Gansheng Lake, middle region, middle-south rift, hero peak to Mangya depression, south Arjin Mountain and north Kunlun Mount, different in hydrocarbon accumulation and formation. The middle-south rift region is the sole one district where no petroleum pool has been found so far. In this paper, we believe that in the middle-south rift region there are better conditions of formation of petroleum reservoir and it will be a strategically important breakthrough region for oil and gas exploration.

    The structure feature, fractural feature and fracture development law in middle-deep target formations in Tertiary carbonate gas condensate reservoir in Nanyishan structure are studied and evaluated in detail by means of drillingdata and multiplewell logging data correlation, evaluation of fracture parameter of fractured carbonate by logging data is worked out, and well logging in terpretation model is put forward for evaluating fracture porosity and permeability based on structural position characteistics, The result is coincident with drilling data and well testing data.

    Sonic logging has been seldom applied in average velocity field, owing to some limits of data collection and defection of sonic logging. Sonic logging can be adjusted to VSP through drift calculation of sonic logging, drift correction of sonic logging and calculation of compensation time of shallow layer.Therefore acoustic logging is used to correct velocity spectrum in average velocity field. The average velocity field with maximum absolute error of 54 m/s and maximum relative error of less than 2% in XJ area is tested by using VSP of two new wells.

    The process of laser micro-sampling for analysis of C and O isotope in carbonate minerals is to focus a high-power laser beam on a carbonate sample to liberate CO2gas. Then the CO2gas is purified and sent into a mass spectrometer for isotope analysis of C and O, and its spatial resolution rate is more than 20μm. It is an effective way of separately producing CO2gas from all kinds of fine structure composition in carbonate to meet the need of isotope geology studies. Fractionation and reproducibility are characterized by analyzing carbonate standards: the optimal precision is approximately±0.22‰(σ) for bothδ13C and δ18O incarbonate standards, which is the same as what is gained in conventional acid dissolution method;δ13C is not evident in fractionation during laser micro-sampling, whileδ18O is. This
    precision is constant (calcite,-1.72‰;dolomite,-1.59‰) for the same mineral and it can thus easily be corrected . The laser micro-sampling has been mainly used to analyze the isotopes of C and O in carbonate reservoir rocks and the isotope values. Meanwhile it can well explain the diagenesis process and porosity evolution of container rock.

    Thermal fluid in formation is a geologic concept and is the function of pressure and temperature in a basin. Concerning thermal fluid in formation,abnormal temperature field and abnormal pressure field are studied,then the influence of thermal fluid on organism evolution is considered. Basedon existed research achievement to thermal fluid, it is pointed out that thermal fluid can act as promotion and encumbrance when it act on organism in formation.

    The sedimentary facies of Carboniferous Bioclastic Limestone Member is mainly classified into shore and carbonate platform facies in Tarim basin. In the paper, two depositional models are established by comprehensive analysis: they are the clastic shore to carbonate platform model and the carbonate intraplatform model. Terrigenous clastic and mixed shore facies are mainly distributed in the north of Tarim basin. Evaporate platform facies are spread in the east of the 4 wells in middlTarim and in Qikuqiake area, and the best dolostone reservoirs are largely located there, too. In other areas the restricted and semi-restricted platform facies are distributed. At the end of the paper, we discuss the sedimentary facies evolution in Carboniferous Bioclastic Limestone Member.

    It is more difficult to recognize a tight sandstone gas layer than a regular sandstone gas layer. The extremely poor porosity and permeability of the tight sandstone makes many traditional recognition methods less satisfying. Based on the well log materials from a gas field in northwestern Sichuan, This paper makes a detailed analysis of the recognition effects of several common methods as well as the factors affecting the results. Some relatively reasonable proposals are presented for the reference of the trade.

    This paper discusses the new advances of the theory in two aspects, the essential non-Darcy’s state of fluid flow and the disorder in fluid flow studied by means of the fractal geometry. Based on the discussion and combination with other subjects, a new theory of syncretizing fluid flow in porous media with intelligence technology is put forward, and then the basic regularity of intelligence technology propagation is thoroughly discussed.The research results are significant in crosslinking fluid flow in porous media with other subjects.

    Subjected to a long-term development, Ma-2 fault block oil reservoir has grown into a high water cut stage. Many problems are arising in Ma-2 fault blockoil reservoir at the stage:These are the low level of water control, the sharp conflict visible in or between layers, and the difficulty in developing remaining oil of low permeable zone. To control the progressive reduction of production and to raise the recovery ratio, we have, comprehensively, analyzed the major problems by means of the numerical simulation, and experimented with all the practical adjustment-schemes and selected the best based on the economic evaluation. The study suggests it is necessary and effective to adjust the current development situation of Ma-2 fault block oil reservoir. Through timely adjustment in injection recovery and oil recovery rate in the middle and late periods of development of Ma-2 fault block oil reservoir, not only could high efficiency of development be fulfilled, but ultimate recovery ratio could also be raised. And finally we can achieve the goal of oil collection stabilizing and water controlling.

    OpenGL is a kind of development criterion of 3D graphics and a necessary toolkit for development of 3D graphics. Its stability, reliability, and expansibility make it unbelievably powerful and widely applicable. OpenGL has been widely applied in many fields such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Computer Aided Education (CAE), medical image manipulation, virtualreality, entertainment, and advertisement business. OpenGL can also be applied in presentation of some special three-dimension problem, such as reservoir exploitation. Reservoir is a complicated spatio-tem-poral system. Reservoir dynamic and static characterization
    would be achieved through analysis of dynamic monitoring data and employment of geostatistics method. By means of OpenGL, the interior state of underground oil field will be presented visually and vividly to the administrative levels of oil field and engineers. As a result, the work efficiency will be improved evidently. This paper introduces the basic conception, characteristic, principle, working flow and drawing flow of OpenGL. The
    three-dimension visual toolkit of reservoir construction based on OpenGL techniques is inset in the oil field management system of geographic information system (GIS). It will enhance its inadequate description ability for three-dimensional space in current GIS system.

    It is experimentally proved that gas condensate permeability is affected by interfacial tension, velocity, viscosity, thus the relationship between permeability and saturation can not be corrected by the function simply depending on IFT. A large number of methods have been proposed for including the capillary number in the gas condensate permeability functions. Two different methods are reviewed and analyzed, these methods evalu-
    ated by using a least-squares fitting method to fit the correlations to one set of data measured at varying interfacial tension and flow velocity, the best function recommended and the direction of further study pointed out.

    The oil content is one of the primary specifications of water quality control in produced water re-injection and conventional oilfield water treatments. It also mainly contributes to the decline of water receptivity of the injected formation especially in water re-injection system. It is very difficult that how to determine reasonable oil content corresponding to specified formation whenever constituting water quality standard in water flooding oilfield. In this paper,the damage characteristics of emulsified oil droplets on core flowing efficiency were effectively assessed in the first time by involving orthogonal experiment design method, and lots of useful conclusions were also obtained. It has important guidable significance in understanding reasonable water quality standard and coming up with good ideas to cease this kind of formation damage in oilfield.

    According to the mathematical models of fluid flow in reservoir and in horizontal wellbore, the percolation in reservoir coupled with the flow in horizontal wellbore in this paper, i.e. regarding the location where crude oil runs into wellbore as node, and the optimum well length was studied. The solution to optimum well length was derived and a presented example
    demonstrated the reasonableness and feasibility of this approach. The study of this paper developed a methodology to calculate the optimum horizontal well length.

    When pumping oil well flow pressure is lower than saturate pressure, annular gas is separated from oil and foamy section produces. So there's no significant surface of oil and gas. We can not get the true information of real fluid surface by echo sounder, and it causes a certain of errors to flow pressure calculation. And also it makes us have wrong production decision.Pseudo-liquid surface tester, which comes from the idea of material balance, can calculate the height of annular pseudo-gas column by testing pressure gradient and gas column of oil casingannular exhaust and resume,as well as oil and gas oportion,moisture content, gas proportion and making correction. And that is the real liquid surface of oil well. Field tests show that the errors can be 10% lower by this way than by echo testing, and it can meets the demand of liquid testing of oil well.

    The mechanism that salt affect colloid characteristic of the mud has been discussed. The components of amphoteric polymer salt tolerance mud have been introduced, and the field operation technology drilling through thick salt bed by using amphoteric polymer mud system has been summarized. The key of the salt tolerance drilling fluids is to maintain dispersity of the
    bentonite particles by increasing the content of salt tolerance additives in mud. Results of applying the amphoteric polymer salt tolerance mud in Zalaloer oilfield show that the drilling fluid system has a pretty good ability to withstand salt, and the drilling fluid technology is reasonable in drilling thick salt bed.

    The rheology of hydrophobic associating polymer/surfactant solution system and the interfacial tension between the system and simulation oil have been studied in this paper. Experimental results show that there are obvious interactions between hydrophobic associating polymer ( NAPs) and surfactant
    (SDBs), and synergistic effects exist in some conditions. Maximum viscosity of the NAPs/SDBS system has got at certain surfactant concentration. The interaction of NAPs/SDBS has made
    the surfactant concentration shifts right at which the minimum interfacial tension between polymer/surfactant and simulation oil obtained, and increases the interfacial tension.

    Weak gel has been applied successfully in water flooding reservoirs to modify profile and to control mobility for a few years. Results of laboratory experiments and field trials have indicated that the injection of the weak gel could observably improve sweep efficiency and enhance oil recovery in water flooding reservoirs. The laboratory investigation was conducted to
    determine the influence of metallic ions and total salinity on weal gel. The results have showed that the factors, including types and concentration of the metallic ions ( Na+ 、K+ 、Mg 2+ 、Ca 2+ )the total salinity, have important impacts on the properties of the weak gel.

    Injection pattern and displacement efficiency of NTCP foam system have been studied, which is made of 0.2%NAPS hydrophobic associating polymer as foam stabilizer, 0.15% surfactant as foaming agent and industrial nitrogen in accordance with certain proportion. The NTCP foam system has high re-
    sistance coefficient and low residual resistance coefficient. Under the geological condition of Wenmingzai oilfield in Zhongyuan oilfields, simulation experiment shows that the foam system hashigh displacement efficiency, ability of control profile and low damages to low permeable formation. Injecting 0.8 PV in single core experiment, the displacement efficiency of foam flooding is 17.9%-28.7% higher than that of water flooding.Injecting 0.8 PV in parallel core experiment, when permeability contrast is 14.1 and 38.2 respectively, the displacement effi-ciency of foam flooding is 44.0% and 28.6% respectively high-er than that of water flooding.

    A new approach to foam diverting acidizing has been put forward. The performance of foaming agent and foam stabilizer has been analyzed and some diverting effect experiments including foam temporary plugging effect experiment, cores with different permeability and diverting acidizing experiment simulating actual acidizing treatment have been conducted by using versatile acidizing diverting experimental rig. Results show that the
    foam divert technique can divert effectively in the experiment when acidizing parallel cores, increase the acid intake of low permeability core, improve equably the final permeability of cores of different permeability and enhance acidizing effect.This technique can solve problems of even acid intake and even
    removing plug in multi-zone reservoir with different permeability and do not need special separate method.

    In order to enhance the activity of cyclic catalyst by natural gas steam reforming, the pore structure of traditional cyclic catalyst was improved by making use of open cell agent and pore forming agent, and the open cell agent SJ and the pore forming agent 2A3H have been selected. Results show that the optimum size of SJ is 200-300μm and content of 2A3H is 5.0%. The
    improved cyclic catalyst was developed, and its activity was determined. As compared with traditional catalyst at the same operation conditions, the activity of the improved catalyst increased by 27%-30% at high temperature.

    By the experiment of the postmixed abrasive jet cleaning oil tube coating, it was concluded that the efficiency of the postmixed abrasive jet cleaning oil tube coating was related to nozzle diameter, standoff distance, jet angle and diameter of abrasivegrain, that the efficiency of the postmixed abrasive jet cleaning oil tube coating increased with the diameter of nozzle, the opti-
    mum value of standoff distance is 250 mm, of jet angle is 90 degree and of grain diameter is 0.8 mm.

    Since Sucker-rod Pumping systems of many fields were designed through experience for a long time, most pumping wells often are in many problems, such as, pumping parameter design and hardware configuration irrationality, incongruity between pumping displacement and stratum in leakage capacity, low system efficiency, and low economic benefit. This paper mainly in-
    troduced the research clue, function, characteristic, operating environment, and field application instances of the Sucker-rod Pumping system optimization design software, which can better solve the problems of pumping wells. Field application proved that the Sucker-rod Pumping system optimization design software can increase pumping system efficiency and producing capacity, and then obtain economic benefit and management level of oil field for pumping well.
