Abstract:

Objective:For the identification and utilization of the resource of medicinal plants, pharmacognostic studies were
systematically performed for Rabdosia （Bl.） calcicola and R. flavida.Methods: Methods of source identification, property identification and microscopic and physiochemical identification were applied in the study. Results: The crosscutting and microscopic characteristics of the powder were different between R. calcicola and R. flavida. Conclusion: The result of the experiment provided a theoreticalbasis for the development, utilization, quality control andidentification of the two herbs.
