Abstract:

Objective: To discuss the expressions of Survivin and OPN in the tissues of chronic cervitis, cervical intraepithelial
neoplasia(CIN)and cervical squamous carcinoma. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method was applied to detect the expressions
of Survivin and OPN in 10 cases of chronic cervicitis, 20 cases of CIN and 50 cases of cervical cancer. Results: The expression
positive rate of Survivin and OPN in chronic cervicitis、CINⅢ、cervical squamous carcinomas increased with the lesion severity level
enhancement, three groups of comparative differences are statistically significant(P<0.05). The expression positive rate of Survivin
in cervical squamous carcinomas was associated with clinical stages and pathologic stage(P <0.05), but has nothing to do with age and
lymph nodes metastasis(P >0.05). The expression positive rate of OPN in cervical squamous carcinomas was associated with clinical
stages and lymph node metastasis(P < 0.05), but has nothing to do with age and pathologic stage(P > 0.05). Conclusion: The joint
detection of Survivin and OPN may serve as the index for early diagnosis, condition monitoring and prognosis judgment of cervical
squamous carcinomas.
