Nursing Care of PPH Operation Treating 108 Cases of Hemorrhoids in Township Health Centers

Abstract:

Objective: To explore the new nursing method of PPH operation treating hemorrhoids applied by township health centers
and to regulate and improve the quality of nursing. Methods: Preoperative and postoperative health education manuals were made to
regulate nursing and prevent complications. Results: One hundred and eight cases of PPH patients received satisfactory nursing. Anal
pain and distention occurred in 15 cases, urinary retention occurred in 44 cases after operation. Others had no anal incontinence, anal
stenosis, anal infection and other complications. Conclusion: Health education manual which standardizes nursing management is
suitable for township health centers to improve nursing quality.
