Simultaneous Determination of Seven Constituents Content in Quban Yangyan Capsule by HPLC

Abstract: Objective To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of seven constituents content in Quban Yangyan capsule. Methods HPLC method was adopted. The determination was performed on Yi Lite C18 column4.6 mm×250 mm5 μmwith mobile phase consisted of 0.1% phosphoric acid solutionA-acetonitrile B)(gradient elution at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The column temperature was set at 25 ℃,and the detection wavelength was set at 232 nm. The sample size was 10 μL. Results Gallic acidsodium Danshensu geniposide albiflorinpaeoniflorinferulic acid and salvianolic acid B showed good linear relationships within the ranges of 3.198-79.950 μg/mLr=0.999 3)、3.798-94.950 μg/mLr=0.999 9)、16.638-415.950 μg/mLr=0.999 9)、6.772-169.300 μg/mLr=0.999 5)、19.406-485.150 μg/mLr=0.999 0)、1.612-40.300 μg/mLr=1.000 0)、10.582-264.550 μg/mLr=0.999 9),respectively. RSDs of precisionreproducibility stability and added recovery tests were lower than 2.0%, which were qualified for quantitative testing. The average recoveries were 99.06%RSD=0.73%),99.89%RSD=0.54%),98.54%RSD=0.90%),99.03%RSD=0.74%),99.79%RSD=0.56%),100.88%RSD=0.54% and 99.28%RSD=0.48%. Conclusions This method is simple specific and has high precision good separation and reproducibility and can be used to determine the content of seven constituents in Quban Yangyan capsule.
