Research Summary of Dali State Buddhist Manuscripts

Twentieth century witnessed a mass discovery of Dali State Buddhist manuscripts in Qianxun Temple of Chongshengsi,Beitangtian of Fengyi, Three Pagodas of Chongshengsi, Fotu Temple of Xiaguan. After that, some scholars did some recording and sorting work, some other scholars as LI Lincan, ZHOU Yongxian, YANG Yanfu, LI Xiaoyou, YANG Mingtang, ZHANG Xilu, YANG Shiyu, HOU Chong made some monographic studies. A research summary of these predecessors' achievements offers a better understanding of the present research and a clearer guidance for future studies.

The traditional houses of Bai nationality in Xizhou, influenced by the process of Hanization, contain rich traditional rites.The main purpose of traditional rites is to identify the noble and humble status of different classes or individuals and to give them corresponding identifiers. "External traditional rites" and "internal traditional rites" are included in the traditional houses of Xizhou. The "external traditional rites" identifies the status of whole clan in a hierarchical society, demanding that the constituent elements of houses, such as portal door, screen -walls, bays, roofs, and so on, be consistent with the clan's political status. The "Internal traditional rites" extends the "external traditional rites" , expressing the themes of "enclosure," "uprightness," "centralization," and " positivity" in the traditional architecture of Xizhou.

"Esteeming mother" is one of the most important characteristics of Bai's traditional culture. "Esteeming mother" is reflected in Bai's maternal appellation toward heaven, in the maternal thematic folk stories, in piety activities, and in vulvae worship. The maternal characteristics and inheritance mechanism of Bai culture carry important cross-culture enlightenment toward the ethical construction and gender equality in our harmonious society.

Under the tide of global integration, regional economic cooperation develops quickly and becomes an important strength to promote global integration. In the 21st century, the global competition is increasingly violent. In order to maintain a sustained and rapid development of economy and realize the rapid rise of China and Idea, establishing the Sino-Indian free trade area is the only way that the two countries must take. Manufacturing contributes greatly to the increasing of GDP. Putting per capita GDP, industrial structure and urbanization rate as the time-series data of the last decade, this paper analyzes the stages of Dehong industrial development during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period from the Chenery stage theory of industrialization, the Kuznets's theory of output and employment structure, and Hoffman theory of industrial structure; then makes a forecast of the industrial stage and its characteristics during the Dehong Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, and proposes the road of new type industrialization in Dehong.

As the capital of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Xiaguan is the center of politics, economy and culture with a long history of multi-nationality; this makes Xiaguan dialect as a local characteristic. This paper collects the reduplicative adjective suffix in Xiaguan dialect and analyzes its types from two aspects. Structurally speaking, Xiaguan reduplicative adjective suffix covers root and affix; formally speaking, it contains ABB type and ABCD type. The paper further summarizes its grammatical characters and functions and its pragmatic functions of enhancing the degree of modification and expressing feelings of the speakers, describing the items vividly and giving a strong sense of rhythm.

Analysis on the Structure of the Tetrasyllable Words in Naxi Language

The tetrasyllable words in Naxi language would be divided into seven forms based on the overlapping relationship of syllables, which are AABB, ABAB, AABC, ABAC, ABCB, ABCB, ABCC, and ABCD. The main structures of the rhythm are alliterative compounds and rhyming compounds of the first syllable and the third, the rhyming compounds of the second syllable and the fourth. There are many styles of the tones-allocation in tetrasyllable; the most abundant is in the form of AABB, which contains eight styles. And there are four syllables in the same tone in the following forms (AABB, ABAC and ABCB). None of these seven forms has the situation that all of the four syllables are totally in different tones.

The Critique of Pure Reason is the masterpiece of Kant's philosophy, and embodies his criticism on traditional metaphysics. CHEN Duxiu had always advocated an anti-Japan national salvation. He proposed many anti-Japan thoughts, among which the thoughts of public resistance marked a significant change after the outbreak of anti-Japan war in 1937. He explained why and how public resistance was important in anti-Japan war. CHEN's thoughts of public resistance were closely related with CCP and KMT. His thoughts of public resistance are important parts of his personal thoughts, which require objective and scientific analysis and evaluation.

The quantitative analysis of the influential factors of English study has been rare and different recently. On the basis of ierarchical linear model theory, this paper explains different levels of individual learners and distinguishes the relative influence of redictor variable on dependent variable, and finds out the major influential factors of English learning. According to this study, mong all the factors, individual factor takes 83.5%, which is the major factor that influences English learning, and class level factor akes only 16.5%. According to impact strength, the individual factors from strong to weak are English entrance score, sex, class articipation, the degree of attention paid to CET-4, and the time spent in English study.
