Abstract: In recent years, frequent happening of major credit crises of energy companies has become a public concern. To promote the construction of energy enterprise credit system, the National Energy Administration issued the "Opinions on the Implementation of Credit Systems in the Energy Industry(2016-2020)" and "Trial Measures for the Administration of Credit Evaluation for Key Actors in the Energy Market". However, due to the lack of awareness of energy enterprise credit, and inadequate legislative support in credit system in China, there exist problems like insufficient energy management mechanism, inflexible credit supervision and inadequate information coverage in the construction of energy enterprise credit system. Therefore,it is necessary to take measures in both the internal governance of enterprises and the construction of external systems and mechanisms by promoting energy enterprises' awareness of credit, establishing energy management mechanism and legislation, innovating credit supervision, and by building shared credit information system.
