Abstract: When the global ecological environment is gradually deterioratingXi Jinping put forward the concept of global ecological governance. Xi's concept on global eco-governance derives from Marx's eco-thoughts, inherits the gene of eco-wisdom in traditional Chinese culture, draws on the eco-governance theories of the West and the experiences of the global eco-governance. Xi Jinping holds that clean and beautiful green homeland is the final purpose of global eco-governance, which is driven by green development under the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities through discussion and collaboration. Xi Jinping's view on global eco-governance enriches and expands the eco-civilization thoughts of socialism with Chinese characteristics, provides Chinese theory for global eco-governance, and points out new direction for the construction of global eco-civilization.
