Abstract:

Based on the campaign’s background, major methods and features, and its major achievements and experiences as well as the work plan for the next stage, this paper elaborates the first round of the Party’s mass line campaign in colleges and universities. It introduces the methods and features of the campaign in colleges and universities from eleven aspects, among which there are five aspects involving basic experiences, providing a mode for the second round of mass line campaign. In addition, it presents nine innovative methods to find “Four Trends” problems. The introduction of the Six Regulations by the school authority has brought about significant decline in school’s spending on vehicles, receptions and overseas trips; the relevant provisions on leading cadres’s after-work activities also lead to the school-wide improvement of service consciousness and the further improvement of teaching order and examination disciplines. All those achievements prove the necessity of the Party’s mass line campaign in colleges and universities.
