Abstract: The theory foundation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's exposition about people's health includes the health ideology in traditional Chinese culture, Marx's theory on health, and the theories of people's health by successive leaders of the Chinese Communist Party. At present, the contradiction between the supply and demand concerning people's health is becoming increasingly prominent, which is directly related to the overall stability of the economy and society; it is also related to the prosperity of the country and the establishment of a good international image. Xi's exposition on people's health is one of the core concepts in implementing the Healthy China Strategy and guiding the current prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic. It is conducive to promoting the implementation of the Healthy China Strategy and epidemic prevention and control, and promoting the international battle against the pandemic and the solution of the difficulties. It is also conducive to show China's responsibility for the world and the future, and improve China's international image.
