Abstract: As the spiritual dimension of a better life in the context of the new era in China, spiritual life is essentially a life practice activity that endows the existence and development of the people with a sense of meaning, gain, and belonging, deeply reflecting the high-quality living connotation and high-level spiritual needs of the subject. The scientific revelation and in-depth explanation of the content structure of the spiritual life of college students in the new era is a fundamental link to further accurately answer what the spiritual life of college students is and how to improve the quality of their spiritual life. In the context of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era, based on the differences in spiritual development levels and the group characteristics of college students, the content structure of college students' spiritual life is divided into three basic forms with clear logical relationships and mutual infiltration: the psychological life at the emotional level that connects external feelings and internal experiences, the cultural life that deeply intertwines emotional entertainment and spiritual cultivation at the rational level, and the faith life that leads direction and supports synchronous development at the transcendent level.
