Abstract: 2018 is the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx birth, as well as the 170th anniversary of the monumental work - The Communist Manifesto. Since its birth, The Communist Manifesto has been the guidance of international communist movement and it is still a spirit weapon of guiding us moving forward. Nowadays,the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics by Present Xi is The Communist Manifesto of the new era. The theories of “Chinese Dream” and “Two Necessities” have linked up with each other. And the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation has verified the inevitable extinction of bourgeoisie and the victory of communism. “People-centered thought” is the value base and end result of “all-round free development of man”, and seeking truth from facts and keeping up with the times is the methodology of President Xi's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. The significant inspiration of The Communist Manifesto in the new era is that Marxism must develop in practice and be localized in the new era. We must stay true to the original intention and keep the faith, and at the same time, work for the happiness of the people and the rejuvenation of the nation.
