Differences of Ethics Education of College Students in the Internet World and in the Reality——A Case Study of SWPU

Abstract: The differences between students' online behaviors and those in the real society reflect their different ethical standards in the network society and the real society, which inevitably makes moral education of college students different through the Internet and in reality. Through a questionnaire survey of 200 college students of SWPU on 14 selected basic virtues, we find that college students agree on moral virtues of respect, integrity, no harm, and courtesy in online interaction, and they agree with respect,integrity,courtesy and equality in real life interaction. Through further analysis,we tried to probe into the reasons for this differences hoping to provide reference for the further building effective ethics education methods and approaches so as to promote the quality of moral education of college students.
