Abstract: The slim tube test may be the most accurate method and can achieve duplicating results to determine the minimum miscibility pressure. Based on the home actual reservoir to implement carbon dioxide floods, we used the numeric simulation to simulate different influence factors on the minimum miscibility pressure, including the length, the diameter, and the porosity of
the slim-tube and flooding velocity. It showed that the selections of the different slim-tube parameters influenced on the experimental results. The results of the numeric simulation can behelpful to guide slim-tube test so as to get the fitting minimum miscibility pressure.
