This paper elucidates President Xi Jinping's thinking on ethnic affairs and points out a way for all ethnic people in our
county based on an analysis of eight key points in Xi's report to the 19th National Congress of CPC: Remain true to our original
aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, and work tirelessly to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation; The primary
    stage of socialism is the stage when all ethnic groups remain closely united and work jointly for common prosperity and development;
We will devote more energy to speeding up the development of areas with large ethnic minority populations; We will fully implement
the Party's policies concerning ethnic groups, heighten public awareness of ethnic unity and progress, and create a strong sense of
community for the Chinese nation; We must strengthen and develop new approaches to social governance, and rigorously protect
against and take resolute measures to combat all acts of ethnic separatist activities; We must see that the people develop an accurate

In the state of anarchy, Nanzhao became a revisionist force which was dissatisfied with the regional international system in
East Asia with the Tang Dynasty at the core. Its long-term strategy of foreign expansion had exhausted all resources, plunged people in
misery and led the government to perishment. The successive Dali Kingdom, drawing lessons from Nanzhao, had been keeping a
peaceful relationship with the Song Dynasty for a long period of time. The overall situation had changed from the dominance of Nanzhao
to the balance of powers with the establishment of the Cochin regime in the Red River Valley, the consolidation of the majority of
Burma by Bagan Dynasty, and the transformation of Chenla into a powerful nation. The geopolitical change was one of the major reasons
for Dali Kingdom's transition from an aggressive foreign strategy to a peaceful diplomacy.

Since the tax-sharing system reform, the reliance on central government's transfer payment for financial expenditure has
become a prominent feature of Yunnan Province. After investigating the relationship between the transfer payment and provincial
finance in Yunnan, it is found that Yunnan has changed from tax deliverer to a net subsidized province. This developmental path is
different from other provinces, and major reasons are analyzed from the following two aspects. On the one hand, the distribution of
shared tax sources under the current tax-sharing system is seriously unbalanced between the central government and Yunnan Province.
On the other hand, the revenue of Yunnan has its own peculiarities. Continuous upgrading the transfer payment system and
strengthening fiscal construction of Yunnan Province are the major approaches to improve the relationship between central finance and
    provincial finance.

Tourism urbanization is one of the most important forms in the process of urbanization in China. The spatial structure of
urbanization in northwest Yunnan shows general characteristics of fragmented spatial distribution of urban areas, weak interaction
forces, small scale of cities and towns, strong resource orientation, rational function and structure of buildings, and separated
development of old and new cities. Accordingly, this paper discusses in depth the causes of the formation of urban spatial distribution,

Gender does not mean sex, and gender roles are rooted in culture rather than biology. Actually, the equality of men and
women in law does not mean equality in ideologies, cultures and languages. As one of the most controversial novelists in the twentieth
century, D.H. Lawrence's viewpoints on genders have been arousing disputes. Based on his major works in four different periods, and
his philosophical thoughts and life experiences, we can conclude that as a male writer, Lawrence had been pursuing a dominant
position and value of men which were manifested in his ideas and language. That is to say, he did not balance the gender roles of men
and women, and there is still a long way to go for gender equality.

Since the Wilson time, it has become a tradition for America to hold the banner of humanism in foreign policies. However,
as a matter of fact, America is a country that attaches great importance to utility, and its foreign policies are all for its national interests.
From the founding of the country to the present day, America's foreign policies have always been rooted in its own interests. Its acts
during the Cold War impressed us with its interest-based diplomacy, and in the two gulf wars, this diplomacy was on full display.

and accordingly puts forward some suggestions for further reference.

Collaborative innovation is closely interacting with the patent transfer system. On the one hand, patent transfer can
promote the realization of the value of the collaborative innovation. On the other hand, collaborative innovation can facilitate the
establishment of legal rules for patent transfer disputes. In the collaborative innovation, there are problems concerning the execution
and termination of contracts in patent transfer such as repeated sell of a single patent right, unauthorized disposition of patents, quality
issues of products, and remedy for contract termination, etc. For legal rights and obligations of the parties involved in the collaborative
innovation patent transfer, contracts should be compensable, and transferors should have the obligations to register, to provide technical
guide and to warrant against defects of the patent, so as to save costs in the transaction, avoid opportunism and maintain the
collaborative innovational partnership between the parties.

New Zealand's community correction system was established in 1886, and has experienced five stages in its development.
Considerations for a more humane treatment of criminals in the beginning and for a more effective and economic management of
criminals later is the major reason for the establishment of community correction system. The features of the system are: The
Correctional Department carries out vertical leadership over community corrections agencies at all levels; the legislation on community
corrections was established early and systemized; the main body of correction corps is official state civil servants; volunteers mainly
serve prisoners jailed in prison. Its corrective objects and working methods also have their own characteristics. There are several points
in New Zealand's community correction system that we could learn from, such as the gradual establishment and improvement of
community correction system, the established community correction legislation system, a vertical management system, and the
coordination of the relations between state functions and social organization functions.

A comparative narrative analysis was used to investigate the impact of picture types of the Dongba Classics and pictures on
children's story retelling. Children were presented the same story of Annals of Creation with Dongba Classics and pictures, and were
asked to retell the story based on the two types of presentation. Narratives produced by children were recorded and analyzed. The
results showed that: ① Children's narrative structure, consistency with standard text and logicality showed remarkable advantages
when Dongba Classics were used; ② The narrative creativity showed remarkable advantages when pictures were used. The results may
be related with the pictographic nature, distinctive features, unconventional features and the processing depth of Dongba characters.
The results provide an empirical basis for adopting Dongba Classics as supplementary materials for children's narration.

The cross-border enrollment of Myanmar students in the Yunnan border areas highlights the unique advantages of Yunnan
in international exchanges of education and culture. However, a field study finds that the schools in Yunnan border areas, especially
the Country Gateway Schools, are facing multiple challenges in recruiting students from Myanmar, including the lack of admission
policies, difficulties in student management, poor pathways for students to enter higher schools, shortage of school buildings and
facilities and shortage of teachers. This paper presents that our government need to increase the border education investment, integrate
foreign students into the enrollment plan and in school construction planning in border regions, issue policies to recruit foreign students
for border schools, and widen the channels for their study after compulsory education.

There are various types of complements in modern Chinese, and there will be novel insights through researches on
complements from the perspective of semantic orientation. Semantic orientation of complements may be divided into single orientation
and double orientations in general, both of which can be subcategorized into several types. Studies on semantic orientation of
complements are meaningful to Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(TCSL)which has unique features in the stages of primary,
mediate, and advanced levels of teaching. Level-based teaching, graphic teaching, and comparative teaching methods are the most
remarkable applications of semantic orientation of complements in TCSL.
