EDUCATION REFORM AND PRACTICE OF THE SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT OF DEVELOPMENT IN HIGHER VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN HIGHER SCHOOLS

Abstract: Higher vocational education,different from the subject-centered undergraduate education,has its own particularity and professional characteristics. Guided by the Scientific Concept of Development,this paper,taking the higher vocational education in SWPU as an example,introduces the present problems in higher vocational education and the feasibility of developing such education. Then,it proposes that the “ability-quality”development should be the core of the higher vocational education. Besides,this paper, through theoretical and policy studies, aims to establish training mechanism and reform training models in higher vocational college.
