Abstract: XI Jinping's people-centered thought is the inheritance and development of Marxist theory which stresses people's principal position. The Chinese Communist Party's initial ambition and mission is to create happiness for the people and to revive the Chinese nation. The satisfaction of people's needs for better life should be the goal of the development of socialist market economy. The healthy development of the socialist market economy is inseparable from the government's macroeconomic regulation and control. Only by sharing more fruits of economic development with the people can our government achieve a well-off life for all the people. Taking people as the center is the essential requirement of scientific socialism. The path of socialism with Chinese characteristics is to achieve the fundamental interests of the Chinese people. Strengthening the party building in the new era plays an important role in realizing the fundamental interests of our people.
