Since 2004，significant increases in international oil prices mainly result from the imbalance between supply and demand，a weaker U.S.dollar and the speculative factors.For the purpose of analyzing the international oil prices affecting China′s economy，GDP，CPI，INV and IE have been analyzed with Granger causality test to examine causal relationship between the international oil prices and China′s macro-economic variables.From the results of Granger causality test we can see that causal relationship exists between the international oil prices and China′s GDP，IE，INV.Then，the VAR model is established for analyzing the impact degree of the international oil prices on China′s economy.

Animals have long been treated and arbitrarily disposed as an object of property.According to German Civil Code，“Animals are not things.They are protected by special statutes”.This makes clear to all that animals are living beings that have various relations to the human race and that they have their rights to exist in the world.But protection of animal welfare in China should be carried out without breaking the framework of laws in existence.So it is not appropriate to give animals legal status.Animal welfare protection should aim at protecting animals from avoidable sufferings and the protection should cover both domestic and wild animals.Here domestic animals include farm animals，working animals，companion animals，lab animals and animals used in entertainment.

As litigants are able to testify to relevant facts out of their personal experiences and memories about the case，they play a similar role in a law suit.However，litigant witnesses do not enjoy an equal position in suit to those of the third party，so there need to have a special set of procedures for litigant testifying in order that their testimony can function well.Such procedures should follow a basic pattern: when verifying proofs in court，the litigant witness should take an oath or make an affidavit as witnesses of the third party do，pledging to offer factual information relating to the case.Besides，they must also undergo inquiries by each party involved in the suit.

Limitation of action is an enactment in a legal system that the obligees will lost the status of pleading protection with the people′s court if they fail to exercise their rights within the time limitation.When the limitation of action expires，the right of defense should be implemented.Limitation of action is applicable to the claims of right of personality and status when actual infringement is involved，but not when immaterial infringement is involved.Limitation of action is not applicable to the claims of removal of obstacle and elimination of danger.Whether limitation of action is applicable to the claim of restitution of property depends on different situation when the claim is made.When the litigants present their petition to the court，and when litigants withdraw their petition after presentation，the prescription period is interrupted and the limitation of action should be recounted.

The reform which aims at integrating government organizations，proposed at the 17th CCPC，directs China′s administration system reform to the right path and brings forward new opportunities.But difficulties that impede the reform still exist.Therefore，when integrating current government departments to new and highly efficient organizations we must break the pattern of departmental profits.And perfecting legal system，strengthening the administration by law，tightening supervision of government power，and building responsible government and limited government are also effective measures that contribute to success of the reform.

Inequality between men and women existing now and gender discrimination and conflicts deriving from such inequality contradict the essence of harmonized society.After analyzing the manifestation of and the causes for the disharmonious gender relationship，the author points out that realization of a harmonious and equal gender relationship is the basis of a harmonized society and that equality between men and women can be achieved by endowing them equal rights of existence and development while at the same time accept the differences between the two sexes.Ways of realizing gender equality are also suggested in this paper: substituting traditional gender concepts for new concepts of equality，formulating and perfecting relevant laws and regulations aiming at eliminating gender discrimination and women winning respect at home and in society by improving themselves.

Taking a marketing perspective，this paper analyzes college graduates′ career selecting strategies like target positioning，product pricing，packaging，channel distribution and sales promotion.The analysis reveals that college graduates′ career selecting is similar to marketing work of enterprises in its characteristics and process.College graduates are special products which must have high quality and be able to market yourself.Therefore，the application of marketing theories in guiding college graduates career selecting may raise employment rate and reduce costs.

The Tang Dynasty is an extremely important period in Chinese history，and features of the vocabulary in this period will be revealed after indepth survey and comprehensive study.As there were not enough works like Dunhuang Bianwen to epitomize the spoken language in the early to middle period in Tang Dynasty，Tang Poems have become an important data source for studies on spoken vocabulary in Tang Dynasty.Bai Juyi′s poems retained a large number of spoken words，and were kept intact.Therefore they make a typical resources for the study of Tang poetries.This paper gives a general picture of researches on vocabulary in BaiJuyi′s poems by reviewing and evaluating the general situation and major achievements.

The formation of new poetry in China in the early 20th century was closely related to the translation of poems from the west.Translation introduces not only foreign literature ideology but also new form of literature into the native literature and when a national literature is in a critical situation，translation works may take the dominant position in place of native literature.Huang Zunxian，Liang Qichao，and Hu Shi，reformers and advocates of new poetry then maintained then that Chinese literature should learn from the west.The first steps of learning from the west was to translate western poems into Chinese.Modern poets like Feng Zhi and Guo Moruo accomplished their success in literature under the influence of western poems.

The cultural paradigm of translation studies shifts the focus of translation studies from the comparison and transfer between different languages to the connection between language society，history and culture，and the relationship between the translated texts and the target society is placed in the foreground.The May Fourth Period has played an important role in laying a foundation for Chinese modernism and Wilde′s Salome which is introduced，translated and received by Chinese in the May Fourth Period is of great significance.The present paper discusses the relationship between the introduction and translation of Salome during the May Fourth Period and the social，historical and cultural conditions and the influence of Salome on Chinese literature，especially female literature，which revealed the translation′s role as the shaping force of the target culture.

The training of crosscultural awareness and competence has become a focus in college English teaching and learning.Based on the investigation and analysis on crossculture education in college English teaching and learning through a questionnaire，the authors discuss about various problems in crossculture education in current college English teaching and learning and the causes for the college students′ lack of crosscultural communication competence.Then they draw a conclusion that it is of the greatest necessity and importance to develop such competence in college English teaching，and some constructive suggestions in terms of improving the competence are put forward.

In psychology，an attributional bias is a cognitive bias that affects the way we determine who or what was responsible for an event or action.But teachers′ attributional styles are not highly valued in college English teaching.By analyzing the rationales and manifestations of college English teachers′ attributional bias，this paper suggests effective strategies to help college English teachers make positive attributions so that they may promote their selfefficacy and teaching quality and create a good English learning environment for students as well.
