Abstract: In interpretation of conventional seismic data, p-wave is used to detect lithology, gas and oil. The results are not one and only. Using multi-components seismic data which have much seismic information can reduces possible mutli-result. In this pa-per, we use p -wave and ps -wave velocity of mufti -components seismic data and their velocity ratio, Poisson ratio, quadrature trace and impedance of p -wave and ps -wave to predict gas andoil in reservoir. The predicted results are the same as that of drilling.data canreservmr.This study shows that using mufti-components seismicenhance the precision and reliability of prediction of
