Funeral culture is one of the results of human exploration of the existence form, significance and essence of their own
lives, reflecting human's appeals for the existence and development of their own lives and living organisms, and is the psychological activities and ideal coping strategies of human beings facing various realistic challenges. In term of essence, funeral culture does not have a scientific attribute or scientific spirit at all. But it can,to a large extent, alleviate the serious psychological anxiety about the real survival and development caused by the limitations of cognition and ability, and reflect the cognitive status and level of human beings about the factors affecting the existence and development of living organisms from one side. The attitude and behavior of facing the death and settling the deceased solemnly are not only the emotional memorial to the deceased, but also to make the living live more safely and beautifully.

    Journal of Dali University    2023, 8 (1): 1-7.   DOI: 10. 3969 / j. issn. 2096-2266. 2023. 01. 001
    Abstract220)      PDF (6120KB)(65)    Save
Yi Mouxun, the sixth king of Nanzhao Empire, historically met Cui Zuoshi, governor of Jiannan and Xichuan, at the foot of Dian Cangshan, summoning the Three Lords of Heaven, Earth and Water along with numerous deities of mountains and rivers to testify Nanzhao's submission to Tang's central government. The meeting ceremony and the summoning of the Three Lords of Heaven, Earth and Water were hence taken as the evidence of Taoism spread in Nanzhao territory. However, historic records show that the ceremony might not have applied the "Three Officer Calligraphy " in early Taoist rituals, but the traditional rites of the early state religion of Nanzhao-Shamanism. And the deities in might not necessarily are the so-called Taoist Three Lords of Heaven, Earth and Water, but the ethnic deities widely believed by Nanzhao's popular religions. To clarify the mystery, the paper reassesses the three teachings or religions mentioned in Nanzhao Dehuabei, proving the three teachings to be Shamanism, Buddhism and Confucianism, instead of traditional Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

    Abstract181)      PDF (5908KB)(26)    Save
Dai Buddhist temple education is a traditional educational method of the Dai nationality, which plays an important role in the inheritance of the Dai ethnic culture and the shaping of the ethnic spirit. And the development of the ethnic culture of the Dai nationality in the border areas is related to the national cultural security. In the past, the research on Dai culture focused on the culture of Theravada Buddhism, the education of the Dai ethnic group, and the cultural security of the southwestern frontier. They mostly involved religious infiltration, and these social phenomena did not exist in isolation, but had an internal logical connection. The education of Theravada Buddhism connects the three organically through its own bridging function, forming a unity of Dai culture with Theravada Buddhism culture as the core. In recent years, the rapid development of society, economy and culture in the Xishuangbanna area of Yunnan has led to the secularization of Dai Buddhist temple education. The development of Buddhist temple education has shown the characteristics of separation from secular education, de-transcendence (disenchantment), and privatization, deconstructing the Dai people traditional concept, providing an opportunity for the entry of other cultural elements, thereby affecting the cultural security of the Dai area in the southwestern frontier.

In mid-late Ming Dynasty when Wang Yangming's theory of mind was prevalent Li Yuanyang a Bai scholar born in Dali Yunnan claimed to be a disciple of Wang Yangming's school and believed in his theory firmly. Therefore he often communicated with Wang's disciples to learn from each otherno matter when he worked as a government official orreturned to his hometown to be a lecturer after retirement. He also insisted on interpreting Wang's theory through letters and articles. Of particular importance to his achievements however was the break-through on Wang's theory and proposed his ontology of human nature which were borrowed from the thoughts of Buddhism and Taoism and inherited the multiple interpretations of human nature. The process fromhis pure absorption interpretation to theoretical breakthroughof Wang's theory seems to reflect the history of the spread of mind theory in ethnic areas.

This study focuses on the overall performance of traditional wooden dwellings in Dali Bai area. Two commonly used wooden frame structures in Dali Bai dwellings were selected as research objects and the ANSYS finite element numerical simulation method was used to establish a structural overall model. The deformation and stress characteristics of two wooden frame structures under static load were analyzed and the displacement and acceleration responses of the two wooden frame structures under earthquake loads were obtained through time history analysis. The results showed that under load the peak deformation of the two wooden frames was within the allowable rangeand the compressive bending and shear bearing capacities of the components all met the requirements. According to the modal analysis the longitudinal stiffness of the wooden frame was weak and the transverse stiffness was slightly greater than the longitudinal stiffness which conformed to the general vibration sequence of the structure. On the basis of modal analysis the dynamic response analysis of wooden frame was carried out obtained a comparison between two types of wooden frames the dynamic amplification factors of each node of the two wooden frames did not show significant differences. The peak displacement and acceleration response did not appear at the same time and there was a certain phase difference. In conclusion the two types of Dali Bai traditional wooden frame structures are basically intact and currently in a safe state.

    Journal of Dali University    2023, 8 (3): 101-107.   DOI: 10. 3969/j. issn. 2096-2266. 2023. 03. 016
    Abstract125)      PDF (6642KB)(24)    Save

Solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation is the "outline" of the Party's national work in the new era and the education of that is an important content of moral education in universities. Inter-subjectivity theory regards man as the subject of social practice who presents subjective initiative and creativity in specific practical activities. The education of solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation is inseparable from the inter-subjectivity relationship between educators and the educated. And it should investigate the inter-subjectivity between subjects such as form and content direct and indirect influencing factors related to education individuals and groups. To solve the problem arising from the influence of information flow between subjects in form to solve the problem of giving and receiving between subjects in content and to investigate the inter-subjectivity of factors related to education in the process of solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation we can understand it from three aspects ontology epistemology and axiology. It is also necessary to investigate the inter-subjectivity including individuals and groups in the process of solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation. The implementation of the education of solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation should solve the theoretical problems of inter-subjectivity which should be reflected in practice and pay attention to the inter-subjectivity relationship of factors related to education so as to make the education of solidifying the sense of community for the Chinese nation achieve the expected results.
