The discovery of the salt well in the Erhai Area is closely connected to the formation of culture in Nanzhao State and Dali Kingdom. Salt exerts significantly on the formation of national and local government in Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, as well as on the transformation of dynasties and powers. The domination of salt in Nanzhao State is the economic and cultural tie that has put together the dispersed ethnic groups and districts. The salt well in the Erhai Area is one of the specific paths to the interpretation of the culture in Nanzhao State and Dali Kingdom.

Mencius' thoughts, which was formed in the background of social unrest and the change of social system, pointed out the value orientation of the clean, the source of power, and the moral of officials. At the critical moment of reform, when the new and old systems could not transform overnight, some uncoordinated or even disordered states inevitably occur, and corruption becomes rampant. In this context, anticorruption becomes increasingly serious nowadays, and Meniscus' thoughts have important referential significance.

China is undergoing a rapid social transition now, when the construction of socialist modernization and serive-oriented government is at its critical moment. Community is the most basic common area of human life. Government shoulders the responsibility of promoting good governance of the community. The current dilemmaof the community governance in China lies in the dominant position of all-round government, the lagging of the community residents' involvement, and the inadequate development of community-based organizations. The paper, under the governance theory, discusses the countermeasures of community governance from three aspects: the transformation of government functions, the construction of limited and service-oriented government, the promotion of the community residents' involvement and the adequate development of community-based organizations.

Prostitute images in the vernacular novels of Ming Dynasty inherited and developed the Tang legends. This paper takes Biography of HUO Xiaoyu, Biography of LI Wa and The Businessmen Selling Oil Married a Courtesan, DU Shiniang Angrily Discarded the Box Filled with Treasure into Water as study objects, and points out the evolvement of the prostitute images and the differences of authors' creating concepts. These differences indicate that the romantic feelings of the Tang romance author have given way to the realistic thinking of the commodity economy society of the late Ming Dynasty.

Sketches of Travels in Hunan is the most outstanding prose work by SHEN Congwen, which is constituted of narrative,personage describing, news, scenic sketch, object describing, and emotion expressing. It describes various knowledge gained along the upstream of Yuan River from Changde, combining scenery with human affairs and painting a colorful picture of people's life in west Hunan Province. Many of SHENG Congwen's works, including Sketches of Travels in Hunnan, have represented the happy life of west Hunan and faintly showed his loneliness.

Chillingworth has been viewed as a devil in The Scarlet Letter, whose role helps to carry out the crazy personal revenge and finally lead to self-destruction. The paper, analyzing from cognitive and cultural perspectives, suggests that the measure word "wei" is used as a polite speech behaviour and it has close relationship to the fact of "providing seats" to the hearer. But in the sentence "nin ji wei?", "wei" is a noun rather than a measure word, while the measure word "ge" is omitted and "wei" is used to imply person with its metonymic sense.

Aselem's ontological proof on God's existence had suffered a lot of criticisms since its presentation. Among the most prominent criticisms in the history of western philosophy are those from Thomas Aquinas and Kant. Aquinas regarded the proof as a priori argument, and he held that it could not prove the evidence of God's existence with the exception that people started from the post-priori experiences. While Kant cirticized this proof, for he believed that the post-priori argument also could not prove the evidence of God's existence. He named the priori argument as the ontological argument. Kant focused his criticism on the idea of "God in the end is not a real predicate". He thought that the proof starting from the post-priori experiences—cosmological and theological
argument—could not demonstrate the proposition of God's existence. Because they were still the disguised ontological proofs. As a result, Kant became the first man in the history of pilosophy to hit the key of the ontological argument and shaked the proof.

The Inscriptional Records on the Establishment of School Farm System by Assistant administrator ZOU Yaochen is an important historical materials for the study on the cultural and educational development in Yunnan border area in Ming Dynasty. The school farm system in Zhaozhou (named Fengyi in Dali today) existed more than 400 years in history until it was abolished in Land Reform after 1949 and exerted far-reaching influence on the cultural and educational development in Fengyi, Dali. However, little is known about ZOU Yaochen, the founder of the system. ZOU Yaochen, being a Jinshi, (examinee passing through palace examination), successively served as Yushi (provincial censor), Fushi (vice-minister) and Canzheng (assistant administrator) and resided in Dali after his retired age. As an important local official in Dali, ZOU Yaochen acquired remarkable effect in incorruption and serving the people,and he is a famous historical figure who had higher prestige and reputation in local society. The records of his life experiences are dispersedly found in official history, chronicles, inscriptions and genealogy, lacking of systematic organization, reliable collation, comprehensive textual research and detailed research. In this paper, the author will make a research on his life experiences and family extraction, based on available historical records and field researches.

LI Genyuan, the nucleus in the Yunnan Chongjiu Uprsing, is the real leader of the military government at the beginning of the revolution. LI held different political views from Cai E, who was then improvement-oriented, and thus left decision-making center on the occasion of Tengyu Conflict between Tengchong and Dali. Afterwards, since CAI E improved the Yunnan revolution forces by constructing parties, as the leader of the Chinese Alliance, LI Genyuan had to leave for Beijing.

To investigate the characteristics of work values and employment tendency of contemporary university graduating
students, about 300 graduates from a certain university were selected randomly to take the questionnaire made by LING Wenquan,and the result was analyzed by SPSS statistics software. The results show that it scores high in the three dimensions of work values.Graduating students have high expectation in job hunting, considering security/health care as the first factor, development the second,and popularity/position the third. There is significant difference in "reputation/position" dimension between boys and girls（t=2.36, P<0.05）; there is significant difference in "development" dimension between towns and villages graduates （t=2.09, P<0.05）; there is significant difference in science "security/health care" dimension between liberal arts graduates and science graduates （t=2.13, P<0.05）. The work values of the university graduating students are different from those of the former graduates. Universities are supposed to give some employment guidance to students.
