Abstract: Teachers play an important role in running the ideological and political theory course,the key being to give full play to the enthusiasm,initiative and creativity of teachers. The national conference on ideological and political work in colleges and universities and national teacher symposium on the ideological and political theory course in schools points out the direction for building a good ideological class. Building a beautiful ideological and political class is a systematic project and needs efforts from all sides,and the most fundamental is the content of classroom teaching. It needs to constantly improve the cultural quality of the ideological and political teachers,helping them pass on "five kinds of cultures" including the dominant Marxism ideology and culture, the rooted Chinese traditional culture, the reference to the advanced Western culture, the virtual Internet culture, and the campus history and culture. In addition, teachers of ideological courses should continue to have innovation in many sectors such as classroom organization, teaching methods and sense of humor, so as to reach the goal of building a brilliant ideological and political course.
