普通能源类本科院校提升教学学术的研究与实践

摘要:

教学与科研的关系研究一直是高等教育理论探讨的热点,如何有机协调高校科研与教学的关系,从而提高高
等教育教学质量显得尤为重要。Ernest L Boyer 在20 世纪90 年代首次提出了“教学学术”的概念,经过20 多年的发
展,已经发展为一项国际性运动。本文以普通能源类本科院校为研究对象,采用问卷调查的方式,对数据进行统计处
理,分析了教学学术现状,研究表明普通能源类本科院校、“985”院校和“211”院校教师都出现了“重研轻教”问题;对
相关指标分析得出:随院校层次递减,高校教师的日均工作时间也随之递减,但是投入教学的时间却相反,随院校层次
递减而递增;“211”院校和“985”院校在课程设计和学生课堂表现状况方面,整体要优于普通能源类本科院校;在教
师培训方面,普通能源类本科院校教师对培训的评价、接受培训的比例都最高,但接受培训的质量和层次却明显低于
“211”院校和“985”院校。“教学学术”已经成为了一项全面提高普通能源类本科院校教学质量、深化普通能源类本科
院校教学改革的关键性和根本性的课题。

Abstract:

Studies on the relationship between teaching and academic research has been a focus of higher education research.
Effective coordination between research and teaching is of great importance in improving the quality of teaching in higher
education institutions. In the 1990s Ernest L. Boyer first proposed the concept of“scholarship of teaching”. After more than
20 years,it has developed into an international movement. By analyzing the data collected through a questionnaire survey,
this paper probes into the present teaching and academic status of energy universities in China,and finds out that teachers in
“985”universities and“211”universities tend to value academic research above teaching. Detailed analysis of the data reveals
that university teachers’daily working time declines with the decline of the ranking of their universities,but the working time
devoted to teaching increases on the other hand. In terms of curriculum design and student performance,“985”and“211”
colleges are generally better than ordinary energy universities;in terms of teacher training,a larger proportion of teachers from
ordinary energy universities have the opportunity of teacher training and they have more positive opinions on teacher training,
but the quality and level of training is significantly lower than that of the“985”and“211”universities.“The scholarship of
teaching”has become a crucial and fundamental issue in improving the teaching quality and deepening the teaching reform in
ordinary energy universities.
