Abstract: Peers influence among college students in daily life and social practice, and inspiration of role models not only expand the life perspective of ideological and political education, but also have a special value for enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education. From the perspective of value logic, peer influence is necessary in deepening the "people-oriented" ideological and political education, in the practice of linking ideological and political education with daily life and in establishing the pattern of "all-round education". From a theoretical point of view, there are profound doctrinal support and practical basis for the practice of exerting peer influence: the theory of "human nature" is the fundamental basis, the theory of "implicit learning" is the main doctrinal support, and the effect of "group reference" is its doctrinal reference and the practice of "implicit ideological and political education" has solidified the practical foundation for it. In practice, it is possible for peer influence to take effect. By building a platform and providing effective incentives, we can pave the way for the practice of peer influence and open up a long-term mechanism, thus helping the effective play of peer influence and the ultimate realization of the goal of educating college students.

Key words: college students, peer group, ideological and political education, all-round education, non-formal education
