Thinking on the Reform of Teaching Methods in Economic Mathematics With Ideological and Political Education in University——a case study of Chengdu Technological University

Abstract: Foster character and civic virtue is the fundamental task of education in colleges and universities, and ideological and political education is the important way to achieve the goal.Integrating the ideological and political content into the basic courses, professional courses and the comprehensive courses can effectively realize the whole process of education.This paper deeply excavates the ideological and political elements in economic mathematics,integrates mathematical knowledge and ability training and value shaping. Teaching economic mathematics courses, there are many methods to achieve the course goals, such as, introducing the history of mathematics and the rigorous scientific spirit of mathematicians, telling the cultural background and history of the school, exploring the typical cases of application areas of the economy, analysising and discussing the demand for economic mathematics on the development of industries, which can make economic mathematics teaching and ideological and political education going in the same direction and cultivate the socialist qualified builders and reliable successor of socialism.
