ENERGY SAFETY RELATED INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS BETWEEN OILIMPORTING COUNTRIES

Abstract: Globalization makes energy safety a hot issue.Major oil importing countries as US,Japan,China and India compete against each other while there are also possibilities for cooperation.Positive competition and effective cooperation ensure energy safety and continuing economic growth.Establishing an organization of oil importing countries,participating in overseas oil and natural gas exploitation and oil & gas pipelines construction,cooperating in energy saving and environmental protection are the three suggested major approaches to effective cooperation.
