Abstract: Based on a survey carried out about college students′ life values in two universities in Southwest China，the authors evaluate and study the life values of the subject students by means of comparative analysis and content analysis.After probing into the deeprooted reasons for college students′ indifference to life，the authors think it is necessary to integrate life values education into university education and they suggest establishing a social supporting system by offering life values courses，exploring appropriate teaching methods，strengthening teacher training，encouraging related research.
