AN ANALYSIS OF DIVERSIFICATION OF GAS STATION OPERATION IN SICHUAN

Abstract: Diversification is now becoming the future direction of development of gas stations in Sichuan as world famous petroleum companies break into the Chinese refined oil market one after another,and the domestic gas stations began dealing with the new competitions by diversifying their management.But the nonoil business of Sichuan gas station is still at the starting stage and immature which lacks the competitive power to win the market.Based on the SWOT analysis of the market of nonoil products in Sichuan gas stations,this paper presents a series of proposals which fit well to the current situation of Sichuan gas stations,hoping to help Sichuan gas stations to resist the external impact from foreign companies and to develop in a more healthy and faster way.
