Diversification is now becoming the future direction of development of gas stations in Sichuan as world famous petroleum companies break into the Chinese refined oil market one after another，and the domestic gas stations began dealing with the new competitions by diversifying their management.But the nonoil business of Sichuan gas station is still at the starting stage and immature which lacks the competitive power to win the market.Based on the SWOT analysis of the market of nonoil products in Sichuan gas stations，this paper presents a series of proposals which fit well to the current situation of Sichuan gas stations，hoping to help Sichuan gas stations to resist the external impact from foreign companies and to develop in a more healthy and faster way.

Democracy construction is an important part in building new socialist countryside.The author probes into the problems and causes in democracy construction at the grassroots level in rural areas through a case study of democracy construction in the ChengduChongqing reform experiment project of integration of city and countryside. The study reveals that farmers can be better motivated to build a new village only when grassroots democracy is promoted and farmers′ participation is guaranteed by regulations.A welltodo new countryside also requires that rural cadres have a better sense of serving for the farmers and that rural public service be provided with higher efficiency.

The present paper aims to find out effective ways of preventing suicide behaviors among college students by averting clashes of values with reality.After literature review about the causes for college student suicide，the authors think that disorganization of values is the major reason for this phenomenon.Therefore，pertinent measures are suggested to prevent college student suicide.Improved campus environment can contribute to the rebuilding of a positive value system.And the combination of various suicide prevention efforts from environment improvement to individual counseling will radically create a more healthy environment for college students′ mentality.

Selecting college graduates as village cadres relieves the pressure of employment and more importantly provide for the grassroots rural governments well educated personnel.But college graduates have some difficulties adjusting themselves to their grassrootslevel positions.The reasons for such difficulties range from their improper personal orientation to their lack of experience of working at grassroots levels and to the lack of specific definition of their duties.These problems have hindered the implementation of the wellaimed policy.Based on the analysis of the problems，the authors attempt to offer some effective suggestions for the solution of these problems.

In order to stimulate and encourage consumer spending，business operators may directly or indirectly introduce their products or services.Such words are commercial speeches.Commercial speeches are protected by the constitutional freedom of speech，and enjoy the same legal status with political opinions.For the sake of public interest，government can put a restriction on commercial speech.But according to fourpart analysis developed and applied by the Supreme Court of the United States in Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp.v.Public Service Commission case in 1980，commercial speech can be protected by law only when it concerns lawful activity and not be misleading，and when the restriction serves and directly advances government interest and the restriction is not more extensive than is necessary to serve the interest.The fourstep analysis is of reference value to judicial practice concerning the protection and restriction of commercial speech in China.

Criminal Procedure Law lays specific regulations about the conditions and procedures of arrest.But due to the lack of effective judicial review and judicial remedy approaches，arrest is now over used and even becomes a necessary procedure of criminal prosecution rather than an exception sometimes.Improper arrest is highly likely to break the time limit of prosecution，to encroach human right of the suspect，and to result in state compensation.Therefore，establishing risk management system，strictly follow the regulations of conditions applicable to arrest will significantly reduce the risk caused by improper arrest and will contribute to judicial justice.

To better understand the situation of internal control auditing in listed companies，we carried out a questionnaire survey of internal control auditing in China.The paper summarizes the survey from the aspects of background，contents，statistic analysis and the results.The survey findings show that most companies have already carried out internal control auditing.But there exist problems，such as lack of internal control auditing guide line，insufficient and incompetent internal auditors.

Because of the special nature of its meaning，possibility complement makes a difficult point for foreign students.According to the statistical data from the compositions of Thai students，we have a conclusion that the acquisition of possibility complement takes longer time than result complement and directional complement，and shorter than quantity complement and degree complement.Compared with the acquisition of prepositional phrases as complements，the students perform better in their acquisition of the possibility complement in the primary stage than they do in the intermediate and advanced stage.The major error types and learning difficulties are disclosed through the statistical analysis of compositions and the questionnaires；then we give the causes on the basis of the comparison between Thai language and Chinese and propose some teaching strategies.

The phenomenon that language users often adopt the concise measureword structure to achieve rich meanings has been widely noticed.Although touched upon by some scholars，the definition of such a phenomenon deserves further discussions.Based on an analysis of some given definitions，this paper defines the phenomenon as “measureword collocation variation”，namely，the phenomenon that language users，under particular contexts，adopt the measureword structure and the unconventional collocation of measure words (provisional) and nouns (nominal elements)，or of morphemes and nouns (nominal elements)，to convey feelings and meanings，so as to achieve particular rhetorical effects.The phenomenon consists mainly of two cases：the mutual borrowing between conventional measurewords，and the application of other parts of speech or morphemes.It is hoped that the redefinition of such a phenomenon would promote further research upon it.

This article reports a study of strategy training of English reading among college students based on the researches on metacognition and metacognitive strategy.The study is aimed to investigate the relationship between metacognitive strategy use and English reading proficiency，and also the effect of metacognitive strategy training on student awareness of strategy use.120 English majors participated in the study.A reading comprehension test and a questionnaire and qualitative and quantitative research are applied in the study.The results reveal that the use of metacognitive strategy positively correlates with reading proficiency；metacognitive strategy training can enhance reading ability and heighten the awareness of metacognitive strategy use.The findings suggest that appropriate training should be carried out in reading comprehension teaching so that students can master and learn to use the metacognitive strategy to achieve higher reading efficiency.

Based on the concept of multilevel teaching of college physics，various means of teaching are discussed for the purpose of enriching the contents，interesting and motivating the students.Classroom teaching can be extended to the online platform，and the content of college physics course can be extended from theory to practice by experiment demonstration and student exploration.Specific methods for both in and outside class teaching are explained too.The author hopes to explore a practicable way of consolidating physics attainment of engineering students by balancing between knowledge and capability，emphasizing both process and method and by attaching importance to student emotions and values.
