Abstract: Since the 19th National Congress of the Party,the academic circle in China has begun researches on the value,significance and connotation of strict rule of the Party;comprehensive development of the Party under strict control;the relationship between comprehensive strict governance of the Party and Party construction in universities; the relationship between comprehensive strict governance of the Party and study of Marxist classics; the relationship between comprehensive strict governance of the Party and study of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party; the relationship between comprehensive strict governance of the Party and the ideological construction of the Party, etc.. Although the academic community has achieved fruitful results in the studies of comprehensive strict governance of the Party, it is still worthwhile to find new breakthroughs in research content, perspective and research methods in order to further promote researches in this field. Specifically, as for research content, we need to strengthen researches on the implementation of comprehensive strict party governance; in terms of research perspective, it is necessary to have a broader and more diverse vision; as for research methods, empirical and comparative approaches deserve to be more widely applied.
