Abstract: As is displayed in the “first case of gene discrimination” in Foshan,Guangdong Province,gene discrimination has become a new tendency in employment discrimination in China,which undermines the construction of a harmonious society,weakens the vigor of social development and also violates individual rights to fair treatment.The author suggests that relevant legislation be strengthened and the existing Labor Law and Employment Promotion Law be improved,and meanwhile,an antidiscrimination law be established so that gene discrimination in employment get regulated and avoided by law.
