Adaptable Business Startups and Innovations Driven by Competition and Regional Sustainable Development

Abstract

Abstract: Business startups and innovations invigorate the economy and are the driving force of sustainable development of regional economy. They meet the demand of competitive market economy and help improve economy development and regional development structure. The fundamental driver of business startups and innovations stem from market competition, and policy incentives are also important to business startups and innovations. The key to sustainable regional development is to promote business startups and innovation by the general public,given the limited resources. Therefore,we must nurture regional innovation system, and encourage institutions of higher education to carry out innovation education. We need to provide more support for small and medium-sized enterprises. That means we must make financing, investment, taxation, public service system and regional innovation system more supportive to small and medium-sized enterprises. Improvement should be made in market mechanism in backward areas. This is how we can provide access to platform for fair trading and competition.
