Based on the EMI data, geologic information and conventional logging data, the validity and permeability of the fractured reservoirs in the volcanic rocks of the area of Gu-16 wellare evaluated. The result shows: there are two primary reservoir interspaces, the fracture and the matrix dissolved pore in the volcanic rocks. The reservoir pattern mainly includes: the directly interconnected fractures type and the indirect interconnected pore-fractures type. The reservoir type includes: the low-pore-fracture type and the pore-fracture type. The matrix porosity is 2%-22% or so and the fractured porosity is 0.01%-0.08% in volcanic rock reservoir, so volcanic rock reservoir is low porosity and low permeability reservoir. It is distributed beneath less than 250 meters of unconformable face, which is on the middle and upper areas of volcanic rock.

NMR T2 distribution data obtained on reservoir real log are converted directly to capillary pressure curves. Firstly the T2 cut-off values were determined, and theT2spectra were divided into irreducible water spectra and moveable water spectra. Then the moveable water spectra were corrected for hydrocarbon effects to reconstruct moveable water spectra, which were then added to the irreducible water spectra to obtain the T2 spectra at SW=1. Using a converting coefficient κ, theT2 spectra atSW=1 were able to be converted directly to capillary pressure curve. The key of the method is the correction of hydrocarbon effects on the moveable water spectra and the determination of the optimum κ. We have demonstrated that for sandstone formations capillary pressure curves can be reliably derived from NMR data with an accuracy that is equivalent to standard log interpretation. This was verified through an extensive core study as well as using real log data. This allows obtaining a reliable saturation- height function also in oil(or gas) bearing depth intervals.

The damage of water block is that capillary force existing in gas-liquid interface of formation pore passage obstructs the flow of oil and gas. Results studied in worldwide have shown that the water block affects seriously development effects and becomes one type of the major damages for low permeability gas reservoirs. It has resulted in serious consequences. Bench-scale heating tests have been carried out to water sensitive sandstone core to determine the effect of heat on effective permeability. Results indicate that heat treatment can improve the damage of water block. Experimental results show that the intense heat vaporizes bound and blocked water, destroys clay lattices, and ultimately increases the permeability of clay-rich formations, then removes or postpones water block damage.

Coalbed methane(CBM) reservoirs are characterized with specialties in pore structures, gas occurrences and production mechanisms different with conventional and other unconventional gas reservoirs. The classifications of CBM reservoirs in publishing are usually proposed for direction of exploration and evaluation of candidate areas. With the progress of economically developments of various types of CBM reservoirs in overseas, especially with the rapid increases in quantity and scale of pilot tests in china, it is of important significance to discuss the classifications of CBM reservoirs for developments which comprehensively considers particularities and common properties of different kinds of CBM reservoirs, as well as major factors related to development efficiencies. The classifications of CBM reservoirs for developments are presented in the light of thickness of coalbeds, permeability, gas saturation in matrix and water saturation in natural fractures. Case studies show that fundamental problems on CBM developments related to reservoirs with high and medium permeability have been solved. As the fact that there are some key theoretical and technological questions retarded CBM developments of low permeability and tight reservoirs, solving these questions are the main directions for R&D in the future.

The theory of the fluid flowing at the deformed porous media gas reservoir is developing with the one of fluid flowing through porous media, and the production of deformation media gas reservoir is the one of fluid-solid coupling. In the early time, the main intention was to study the relation among pressure, porosity and permeability of reservoir. After the effective stress was introduced, the fluid flow model about liner elastic deformation was established, later, the fluid-solid coupling model about nonlinear elastic or plastic deformation. Now, the coupling model have been established considering the relation about fluid flow, stress and temperature. In China, the study of theory started very late and was based on the foreign theory . After 1990s, many scholars have begun to study the theory and gained many good results. And these results are very important to develop the gas reservoir in China at present. Certainly, the theory needs to be perfected continuously and be made a theory system for production.

Study on Calculation of Water Inflow Rate of Bottom Hole of Gas Well With Water A new model for calculation of water inflow rate at bottom hole of gas producing wells is presented. The slippage effect of two phase and the transition mechanisms among different flow patterns are taken into consideration. The wellbore is divided into a number of segments whose pressure drop and space distribution of gas-liquid with time under unsteady-state flow conditions is calculated iteratively by using transient steady flow method. At last, the relationships of bottom-hole pressure and water inflow rate changing with time are established.

Abstract Determining optimum well location for Horizontal well in bottom-water reservoir is the key to keep high and steady production and prolong producing time without water. Using mirror effect and superposition principle of potential function, this paper derives the potential function at arbitrary point in reservoir and acquires the potential difference in horizontal wellbore and production equation of the well. Then, the factors affecting production, critical production and water breakthrough time is studied and the optimum well location for horizontal well in bottom-water reservoir is acquired. It provides the theory base for reasonably developing bottom- water reservoir with horizontal well.

Potential tapping through oilfield development adjustment to improve water-flooding recovery in the late period of high water cut stage requires that the residual oil distribution for Daqing oil field should be quantitatively studied using large scale reservoir numerical simulation. Enlarged scale and highly expected efficiency need higher technical capability for reservoir numerical simulation. By using PC-Cluster technique developed in recent years, large-scale reservoir numerical simulation can be performed at a relatively low cost in Daqing oil field. Firstly, the first PC-Cluster used for reservoir numerical simulation is established in Daqing oil field, and based on this developing environment, the serial black oil simulator is paralleled. Oil displacement mechanism of quaternary cationics has been studied in several ways: surface and interface tension, wettability, surface electrical behavior. It’s thought that there has been low interface tension mechanism, wetting conversion mechanism and surface electrical conversion mechanism while displaced by the surfactants. When the concentration of the surfactants is as high as 600 mg•L-1, the oil recovery increment of 5%-6% is available. It is expectable that cationic surfactants with adsorbance property probably have such mechanisms in oil displacement, and have some potentiality.

Based on the infrared spectra of paraffin and asphaltene, the microstructure of simulated waxy oils and crystallographic theories, mechanism of structure formation for waxy crude oils has been discussed. Results show that the mechanism is that of the formation of crystalline nucleuses, the growth of paraffin crystals and the interconnection of paraffin crystalline particles. The basic conditions include that macromolecules such as paraffin or asphaltene or resin form crystalline nucleuses, paraffin crystalline particles continuously form and grow as increase of the interactions between the paraffin molecules and crystalline nucleuses. The increase of the interactions among paraffin crystalline particles leads the particles to contact each other and bridge to form the structure. To understand fully the mechanism of structure formation of waxy crude oils is very helpful to investigate that of their pour point depression and viscosity reduction, and the improving technology of their flow-ability at lower temperature.

The goal of software engineering (SE) is aimed at solving the development and anagement problems of large-scale software projects in its early phases to make the cow-boy-style programming processes into engineering ones with rules and operational criteria. However, because of the inherence drawbacks of traditional software engineering (TSE) models, the increasing rules and operational criterions, it is not met to the really needs of the middle-or-small scale projects’ developing process. Based on our experiences accumulated during about 14 years period and combined with SDBC-MIS practice, the new method called XP (extreme Programming) is discussed in its features, software processes practical rules and applied domain scope. The differences between TSE and XP are contrasted systemically. According to this parallel research, XP is more suitable than TSE when applied to middle-or-small scale systems.

According to the energy conservation law of oil-gas two-phase flow, a general and unified model for predicting fluid flowing temperature distribution in the hybrid transmission pipeline was derived, which considered the effects of joule-thomson coefficient, liquid friction, fluctuating terrain and velocities of gas and liquid. Four simplified models were presented in the paper, and their validity was verified with two field cases for the technological calculation in the oil-gas two-phase pipeline. Through a comparison calculation with actual fluid temperature of pipeline’s end, the main factors which effected the distribution of temperature drop along the multiphase pipeline are heat transfer coefficient, joule-thomson coefficient and liquid friction. However, undulating terrain and velocities of gas and liquid can be ignored for the calculation of temperature drop.

As the substitute fuel of vehicles, natural gas has many advantages, such as the abundant reserves, low prices, high octane number, great combustibility, low sulphur, low nitrogen,no ash, little environmental pollution and so on. But, now, compressed natural gas storage technology has some shortcomings such as high gas storage pressure, low gas storage capacity, short running mileage and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to research the gas storage technology of natural gas vehicle. This paper mainly studied five kinds of gas storage technology of natural gas vehicle and pointed out that adsorption and near critical fluid store natural gas technology will possess the promising application future in the natural gas vehicle field.
