Abstract:
Abstract：Low-carbon economy is an economic model which is based on low energy consumption，low pollution and low emission.It′s another major progress of human society following the Agricultural and Industrial Revolution.Nowadays many countries are taking the low-carbon economy as its key strategy to occupy a commanding height in industry and to preserve its international position.Some developed countries especially the United Kingdom，the United States and Japan，have been taking measures to promote low-carbon economy，such as adopting macro-policies，developing low-carbon technologies，strengthening energy legislation，implementing demonstration projects，and participating in international cooperation.Accordingly，China should put greater emphases on providing a favorable environment for the development of low-carbon economy by improving and perfecting laws and policies，developing low-carbon technologies，and enhancing education of the public and international cooperation.
