A Study on the Strong Communication Characteristics of Official WeChat Accounts of Communist Youth League in Colleges

Abstract: Communist youth league in colleges takes on an important mission of serving and guiding the youth. With the iterative development of mobile internet technology and its products, official WeChat account is becoming an important online space for communist youth league work in colleges, which poses new opportunities and challenges. We selected 748 essays posted on official WeChat accounts of communist youth leagues in colleges from April 1, 2016 to April 1, 2017 with 100000+ page views as samples and analyzed such strength communication characteristics of these articles as data college frequency ranking and title key words ranking, the distribution of page views and likes, as well as the influence of the release time on the effect of the strength communication. Content characteristics concerning originality, title, and ideological and political education were also analyzed. Then, we suggest specific strategies for enhancing the effect of communication.
