Abstract: The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to enhance the political function of grassroots party organizations. In state-owned enterprises, emphasizing the political function of grass-roots party organizations is the basic requirement for strengthening the party's political construction and promoting the comprehensive and strict administration of the party, and it is also the realistic need for solving the problem of weak political function, which is conducive to strengthening the party's leadership and promoting reform and development. Since the new era, the construction of grass-roots party organizations in state-owned enterprises has achieved a series of results, but there are still some weak links in the construction of grass-roots party organizations, which fails to make the political function prominent. To effectively enhance the political functions of grass-roots party organizations in state-owned enterprises, the grassroots party organizations need to truly understand the connotation and significance of prominent political functions, to provide cultural support, to ensure mechanism guarantee, and to implement it in practice.
