Abstract: The CPC and the state leaders have repeatedly stressed principle of preventing the rules of business dealings from eroding intraparty conduct. Such emphases are for the prevention of the commercialization of power and for the adherence to the initial intention of the proletariat. Around the possibility of the rules of business dealings eroding intraparty conduct, the current academic circles hold different ideas:some take the rules of business dealings as an inevitable part of intraparty conduct, some support total block-out of the rules of business dealings in intraparty conduct, and others suggest that the rules of business dealings in intraparty conduct is acceptable if properly dealt with. The intrusion of the rules of business dealings in intraparty conduct at various levels of openness, will eventually endanger the interests of the people of the country and damage the ruling legitimacy of the party. The intrusion is the result of the lack of regulation and restrict party discipline, the influx of capitalist ideas and the malpractice of market economy. To solve this problem, measures must be taken to improve party construction, self-cultivation of party members, and to ensure correct direction of economic activities. In future researches, it is necessary to further clarify the connotation and relevant concepts from different perspectives; systematically studies on the theoretical basis and important issues of this topic, and comparative researches on a broader horizon are also necessary.
