    Hu Xiaokang, , , , , Wang Tao, , , , , Yang Liquan, , , ,
    Journal of Dali University    2024, 9 (6): 1-.
    Abstract103)      PDF (1634KB)(151)    Save
Objective: To sort out the works in history, describe the historical process, and summarize the historical achievements of
the scientific expedition for Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake, and put forward suggestions for future scientific expedition. Methods:Based on retrieving and investigating literature and taking the history of biological science expedition as the main line of discourse, the history of scientific expedition for Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake was divided into different stages according to the characteristics of the development process of Chinese society since modern times, and the specific works and main achievements of each stage were elaborated. Results: The modern scientific expedition for Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake region was initiated in 1882 by Westerners represented by Père Jean Marie Delavay. In 1919, Zhong Guanguang( also known as Tsoong Kuan-Kwang) came to Cangshan mountain and collected specimens, which was the first time for Chinese to investigate Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake. So far, the scientific expedition in this region has gone through four main development stages, i.e., the initial stage before the founding of the People′s Republic of China (before 1949), the early period of the People′s Republic of China (1949-1977), the first 20 years of reform and opening up( 1978-2000), and the latest 20 years( 2001 to present). After more than 140 years of accumulation of scientific expedition, we have a systematic understanding of the species resources and its distributions of plants, macrofungi and some animal groups (i.e., mammals, birds, fish, and some insects) of the Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the physical geography, geology, and ecological environment resources in this region. The plant hunters represented by George Forrest had brought back many plant germplasm resources from this region to Europe and the United States, which greatly promoted the development of horticulture and landscape architecture and the associated industry in Western countries. Conclusion: The scientific expedition for Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake has a long history and rich contents, which is rare in China, and had made significant contributions to
the development of modern biology, especially botany. In the future, it is necessary to further strengthen investigations in biology, ecology, and environmental science, which aimed at answering important questions, and thus promote the progress of science. For instance, the protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecological environmental, and the sustainable development of human society in the context of intensive human activities and global change. Furthermore, to coordinate the requirements of the management of national nature reserves and the social needs of the application of technology for resource exploitation and utilization, thereby making Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake better serve the development of regional economy and society.

    Journal of Dali University    2024, 9 (3): 26-34.   DOI: 10. 3969 / j. issn. 2096-2266. 2024. 03. 004
    Abstract86)      PDF (1621KB)(126)    Save
Based on Chinese multi-regional input-output tables in 2012, 2015, and 2017 from the Carbon Emission Accounts &
Datasets (CEADs), this study uses the improved revealed comparative advantage index (NRCA) from the perspective of value-added
trade to measure the export competitiveness of 8 sub-sectors of modern service industry in 30 provinces of China, and analyzes and
compares the competitiveness of modern service industry in eastern part of central western and northeastern regions of China. The
results show that:①the competitiveness of modern service sectors in most provinces is weak; ② there are fewer comparative advantage
sectors but more disadvantage sectors in the four major regions, and the distribution of these sectors is uneven within and between
provinces and regions, highlighting the phenomenon of unbalanced development; ③the NRCA of modern service industries varies
significantly in different years. Based on these findings, targeted recommendations are proposed to focus on developing sectors with
high NRCA, increase support for the modern service industry, focus on industry integration, promote industrial transformation and
upgrading, improve technological service capabilities and promote industrial development resilience.

The Security-Development Nexus: Connotations, Pathways, and Influencing Factors of China's Peripheral Diplomacy in the New Era
    Qi Weiqun , Xi Guigui
    Journal of Dali University    2025, 10 (9): 85-.
    Abstract28)      PDF (1494KB)(93)    Save
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China has actively advanced its peripheral diplomacy by adhering to the principles of "treating neighbors with friendship and partnering with them", upholding "good-neighborliness, securing neighbors, and enriching neighbors", and highlighting the philosophy of "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit, and inclusiveness". In the new era, China′s proposal of the "Global Development Initiative (GDI)" and "Global Security Initiative (GSI)" has endowed China′s peripheral diplomacy with the critical connotation of balancing "security" and "development". This paper argues that the main pathways of China′s peripheral diplomacy include the expression of goodwill signals, institutional creation, and economic reciprocity. Meanwhile, the fundamental connotations consist of China′s own economic growth, its response to the challenges posed by the U. S. Indo-Pacific strategy, and its efforts to address the diverse security and development demands of Southeast Asian countries.

    Abstract88)      PDF (1409KB)(85)    Save
In traditional Chinese society, almost every village has nurtured virtuous people (elites) within its own local culture. They
are similar to officials yet different; they are similar to the common people yet more powerful. The elites can convey public opinions
through their own privileges, act as intermediaries between the government and the people, and directly participate and play a leading
role in rural governance. Traditional rural elite-driven governance is the main mode of traditional rural social governance. Looking at
its development, its content has gradually evolved from being solely responsible for moral education to directly participating in specific
rural affairs. Traditional rural elite-driven governance has promoted rural autonomy, developed public welfare undertakings, flourished
rural culture, and consolidated rural strength. It fully reflects the sage-like color of traditional Chinese politics and prominently
showcases the experience and wisdom of grassroots governance in China. Summarizing its experience can bring some practical
inspirations for new elites to participate in rural governance in the context of the new era, and it is worthy of exploration and research.

Cultural Strategy, Narrative Translation and Order Shaping: A Study on the Mechanism of Yunnan#br# Myths Consolidating the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation#br#
    Sun Haoran, Cheng Bo
    Journal of Dali University    2024, 9 (7): 1-9.   DOI: 10. 3969 / j. issn. 2096-2266. 2024. 07. 001
    Abstract101)      PDF (1608KB)(81)    Save
Historically, various ethnic groups in Yunnan have consciously and continuously intervened in the "original narrative" to achieve the reconstruction of "secondary narrative" in the long-term process of interaction, communication and integration. Through the translation process of decoding and coding, they have transformed the secular into the sacred, the conflict into harmony, and the non-community into the community, and finally constructed a set of sacred narrative system. Yunnan myth, as a reflection of historical reality, cultural reality and social fact, is a cultural strategy with emotion, metaphor, folk and enlightenment in daily life. This cultural strategy can influence the goal setting and action choice of regional ethnic groups, and promote the conscious formation of regional ethnic community and even Chinese national community. Yunnan mythology, specially the "myth of the Chinese nation community", contains rich consciousness of the Chinese national community and is the "knowledge inventory" to cast the sense of community for the Chinese nation.

ObjectiveTo investigate the yeast carrier ratespecies distribution and susceptibility to common antifungal drugs in external urethral meatus of healthy college students. MethodsA total of 261 healthy university students were randomly recruited from a university in Yunnan Provinceand the swabs from urinary meatus were collected for isolationidentificationdrug sensitivity testingand statistical analysis. Results39 yeast species were isolatedwith a carrier rate of 14.9%;  among them6 strains were isolated from 130 male sampleswith a carrier rate of 4.6%while 33 strains were isolated from 131 female sampleswith a carrier rate of 25.2%. The difference of carrier rate between different gender groups was statiscally significant(χ2=21.73P=0.005. Among 39 yeast speciesthere were 11 strains of Candida albicans28.2%), 24 strains of Candida glabrata61.5%), 4 strains of other Candida species10.3%. The result showed that the geometric means of the yeast to fluconazoleflurocytosine and amphotericin B were 22.030.16 and 4.37 μg/mLrespectivelyand the drug resistance rates of isolates were 15.4%0.0% and 100.0%respectively. ConclusionThe prevalence of Candida colonization among healthy college students at urinary meatus is relatively lowwith smooth colony Candida glabrata being the predominant species. The colonization rate of Candida among female students is significantly higher than that among male students. Some Candida strains exhibit intrinsic resistance to commonly used antifungal drugs.

ObjectiveTo investigate the expression changes of SOX9 during the directed differentiation of mouse hepatic oval cell HOCinto biliary epithelial cellBEC. MethodsA mouse HOC activation model was established by 2-acetylaminofluorene gavage and 2/3 partial hepatectomy. HOC were extracted by two-step enzyme digestion and Percoll density gradient centrifugationand then induced to differentiate into BEC by using epidermal growth factorEGF), stem cell growth factorSCFand leukemia inhibitory factorLIFin vitro. Cell morphological changes before and after differentiation were observed under inverted microscopeBEC were identified by flow cytometryand the expression of SOX9 before and after differentiation was detected by immunofluorescence.ResultsHOC were differentiated into purer BEC up to the 8th generation under the joint action of EGFSCF and LIF. SOX9 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of primary mouse HOCand gradually entered the nucleus during differentiationwith a significant increase in average light density value. ConclusionSOX9 enters the nucleus and its expression remarkably increases during differentiation of mouse HOCs into BECsindicating its possible involvement in the regulation of this differentiation process.

    Abstract1241)      PDF (2513KB)(72)    Save
The historical fauna changes and current situation of fish in Erhai lake was analyzed by reviewing the literature about Erhai fish since the 1950s, and combining the field sampling surveys and the visiting surveys in 2022. There were 54 species of fish recorded in the Erhai lake, belonging to 7 orders, 14 families and 31 genera, including 20 species of indigenous fish, 9 species of endemic indigenous species and 1 species of national second-class protected animal( Schizothorax taliensis) by 2022. A total of 23 species of fish were found in the 2022 Erhai lake fish survey, belonging to 4 orders and 9 families, including Cyprinidae accounting for 60.87% of the total number of fish species, other fish accounted for 39.13%, including Cobitidae, Eleotridae, Gobiieae, Channidae, Salangidae, Osmeridae, Bagridae, and Siluridae. Rhinogobius giurinus, Hemiculter leucisculus, Pelteobagrus fulvidraco and Hypomesus nipponensis were the dominant species in Erhai lake. The survey found Carassius auratus red var to be a newly recorded species in the Erhai Lake. The composition of the fish community in the Erhai lake showed a significant decrease in the number of indigenous species, a gradual increase in the number of invasive species and their dominance, with economic fish and small fish as the current dominant species.
