From the historical anthropological point of view, the Lahu "Kuota" Festival has undergone a long period of integration and
transformation. After analyzing the survey data of the villages of Banliand Salake, the following two basic facts are revealed. Firstly,
different from village Salake which has a devout faith in the mountain god Esha, village Banli has perfectly integrated the worship of
Esha and foreign Christian faith in the 20th century. This has led to significant differences in religious ceremonies and cultural symbols
between the two villages. Secondly, the ritual of "washing hands and face" highlights the social and cultural significance of filial piety,
whereas the disappearance of the "new year water" ceremony demonstrates the destructive effect of socio-economic development on
traditional cultural symbols, and this destruction will grow over time.

Ruling by man and ruling by law are two basic ways of social governance, and have been playing an important role in the    progress of human civilization. The present paper analyzes ruling by man and ruling by law from the three levels of ontology,  epistemology and methodology, in order to better understand and distinguish the two concept swhich have been over-generalized. Only  in this way can we understand why ruling by man as a means of governance still has its value when the whole society is vigorously  promoting the spirit of law and practicing the leadership of law. No matter what kind of epistemology is heldin understandingruling by man and ruling by law, the latter as a fundamental strategy of governing the country must beheld unswervingly in the sense of ontology. However, in microcosmic governance from themethodological respective, the two ways are different in that ruling by law is the root, normality, and substance, and ruling by man is the result, adaptation and function. Only the full integration of the two ways can lead to  ideal governance.

The research was slow and difficult at the beginning but now is thriving and greatly facilitating practical work. However, it is still in short of an overall and systematic advancement of research theory. That is, it lacks a methodological and   theoretical framework of its own.

Mid-Qing dynastyis a summary stage of Chinese ancient culture. During this period, scholars, intellectuals, and their works  showed characteristics different from the past. The peak of monarchical tyranny in the Qing Dynasty inevitably impacted on the  intellectuals' attitudes towards knowledge.             Through reviewing ten years' research on the Specially Contracted Teachers Scheme, it is found that researchers have   carried out comparatively abundant research on the direct beneficiaries of the scheme, namely the specially contracted teachers. Specifically, studies have been conducted with respects to the teachers' mental health, social support, living condition, quality of life, professional identity, job burnout, professional development, professional quality, professional development, team construction and management, training and cultivation, etc.. Meanwhile, there are certain theoretical explorations and empirical studies concerning the problems in practice, the effects and counter measures of the Scheme. However, the amount of the research results is still small. There are also some blind spots in the research object, content, method and disciplinary viewpoint, and relevant research was usually publishedin low- class journals and has limited social influence. At present, we should focus on strengthening the case study, comparative study, historical study and problems study on the implementation of the Scheme.

The western ethnic areas of China have rich natural and humanistic resources but at the meantime are less advanced in  economy, science and technology. In addition, there are multiple types and levels of development in different regions. These  fundamental features determine that the development of western ethnic areas should be based on the improvement of human capital  which could provide labor resources for sustainable development. Therefore, for further development of the areas, we should attach  priority to educational development. The new concept of education development priority means creating a characteristic system of science and education which fits the features of the western ethnic areas, constructing a benign ecology of nature and culture for the west, harmonizing the coexistence between man and nature and the co-prosperity of the humanistic education, and further promoting the sustainable development in the west. In order to attain this goal, the following four types ofrelations should be handled properly, namely the priority on the humanistic development, the priority on the subject of education, the priority on the educational activities, and the priority on the education  career.

In the context of transformation, facing more complex social background and more diverse objectives of talent training, the   original personnel cultivation programs and curriculum designs can no longer meet the demand of times, and therefore have to be  adjusted accordingly. General education curricula can help promote students' life-long learning and working abilities, so based on the  connectionist theory, we should attach importance to and actively construct the general education program in universities. The  connectionist model of general education lays emphasis on the multiplicity and unity, which realizes a theme-centered integration of  the courses. For successful construction of the curricula, it is necessary to make use of educational resources in all aspects, to establish   an integrative educational workshop, and to advance course construction with the joint efforts of interdisciplinary individuals.

The emergence of new media has brought unprecedented opportunities for the development of local university journals, such as the expansion of the audience, the creation of new working modes, and better interaction and exchange among editors, authors, readers and reviewers. But, it has also made the journals face problems and challenges such as the lack of innovative spirit, the weak concept and consciousness of digitalization, the lack of complex editing talent, and limited material security and policy support from the universities. Journals should actively face the challenges and seize the opportunities, insist on content-based construction, realize the diversification and integration of the publication forms, make full use of the interactive features of the new media communication, promote the influence of the published papers, keep high quality editing style, and create a compound editing team to achieve a sustainable, stable and healthy development of the journal.

The relationship between editors and authors is not passive orstatic. It should be a dynamic and benign interaction, through which the quality of published articles could be promoted to the largest extent. A good interactive relationship is reflected in that the editor takes the responsibility of polishing the articles, establishing academic groups of contributors, presenting the specific features of  the journals, and stimulating authors' enthusiasm for creation. For young editors, it is especially important to establish a good interactive relationship with the authors in order to solve the problems in soliciting contributions and to promote professional skills and
    capability.
